I am writing to assure all of you who may be experiencing some doubt,
that peace is manifesting now even though the illusion of reality
has yet to show it.
A lot of fear expressed itself in the attacks of September 11, 2001
and many people reacted fearfully. Fear is the motivation behind any
attack. How then, can any reprisal end the fear? Fear can only be transformed
by love.
My first reaction to the news was disbelief that the Twin Towers had
fallen. Having been an eyewitness to the last bombing event in 1993,
I could not believe they were no longer standing. They had seemed invincible.
For a brief moment I felt vulnerable and angry. How could this have
happened? What about the people who were working inside50,000the
size of a small city? Who would want to do something so hurtful to the
entire world? New York is not just an American city, it is a city belonging
to everyone on the planet. We all lost something that day, and it has
united us as a planet for the first time.
My next response was one of resignation, acceptance and understanding.
"This is it. It's come." This terrorist attack was a return
of the karma the U. S. had sent out in the past. Most of us are unaware
of what our government has done in the past in the name of "national
security" and this is not the place to discuss it. I was simply
reassured, that in some small way, things were not as wrong in our world
as it seemed at that moment. This event was not really random and our
government is not really innocent. The people who died were.
These martyrs to the peace I bless. They are continuing their mission
of peace on the other side.
My most enduring feeling is one of sadness for the destruction of lives
and property. Sadness that, for many, bringing in peace required lossof
life, of innocence, of security. Yet there is no need to fear, for we
are all Divinely guided and protected.
It is vitally important for each of us to work through our grief processshock/denial,
anger, bargaining, sadness and acceptancein order to heal ourselves
and our planet. Bottling up our feelings keeps them alive and keeps
us stuck in the past. Expressing them releases them, restores us to
love and leads us into our peaceful future.
For many of us, our current assignment is to continue to create the
space for peace by re-balancing the karma of our government
peacefully.
As we hold love in our hearts and resolve that our government deals
honorably with all others, we help right the wrongs of the past and
usher in peace, peacefully. When we hold peace and love in our hearts
we invite peace and love from others. That is the only way.
For over ten years I had been preparing for an earth-shaking event such
as this. Not with a bunker full of foodstuffs, but energetically, preparing
myself to be an oasis of calm in the maelstrom. In the course of this
preparation I have given the concept of "evil" a lot of thought.
I asked Source why it created evil. It didn't. We humans, free
to imagine and create anything on this planet of free will, did. We
chose to see ourselves separate from Source. We wondered, "what
would happen if
" And so we strayed from truth and created
lies, we strayed from reality and created illusion, we strayed from
our inherent immortality and created death. All we see and believe to
be real on this planet is part of the illusion we humans created.
The people who died exist still, on the other side of this illusion,
this dream, we call life. Their bodies are dead, their souls, their
spirits, live on. We can communicate with them if we choose it and believe
it to be so. We created the concept of death and we can reframe that
experience now. We created evil and we can now incorporated this "shadow
of love" back into the light of reality. It is time.
Many speak about "rooting out" evil. Sixty years ago the "evil"
was Nazism. People thought that if only we could kill all the Nazis,
the evil would go away. Well, almost all of them are dead now and the
evil remains as a mantle now taken up by others. Killing evil people
does not kill evil. Like the "fear entity" in Star Trek's
"Wolf in the Fold" episode, when an evil person died, the
entity simply possessed another susceptible creature. As demonstrated
in that Star Trek show, it was only when everyone became peaceful
and loving that the entity could be neutralized, in the truest sense
of the word. That is what is required now and that is what is happening.
Others say we "should have minded our own business in the Middle
East and elsewhere in the first place." This is not feasible in
One World. "Neutrality" is a fiction in a world where the
flap of a butterflys wings in Brazil can set off a tornado in
Texas (Edward Lorenz, 1979). These two optionswar and neutralityare
based on the old paradigm of duality.
In the new paradigm of unity we return to our essential existence where
love motivates all actions. Love heals all ills, including "evil."
We love because it is our nature to love. We are concerned for
our neighbor's welfare because his suffering is our suffering and his
well being is our well being. We feel both equally. It's really as simple
as that. The time to start is now.
It is also time to understand a concealed truth about Earth. Our planet
is like the planet in the Star Trek episode "Shore Leave."
Dr. McCoy beams down to the planet and sees Alice in Wonderland and
a big rabbit, who exclaims he is late. A security officer telling his
friend about fighter airplanes during World War II suddenly gets strafed
by one. Capt. Kirk finds an old flame who "can't possibly be here,"
and he finally gets the chance to "beat the tar out of" Finnegan,
an old Academy nemesis. Very curious.
Then McCoy is run through by a lance from a mounted knight in armor.
Kirk realizes this planet is dangerous. He assembles his shore leave
party. "You're at attention," he barks. "Don't think,
don't feel, don't breathe. You're at attention. Concentrate only
on that."
That is exactly how I felt when my sister called to tell me about the
World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks. I could hear the grief, disbelief
and fear in her voice. My Inner Guidance snapped me to attention. I
focused on my breathing and guided both of us to peaceful thoughts.
Getting back to "Shore Leave," suddenly the caretaker appears
to explain what has been happening. This is a shore leave planet. Anything
one thinks of becomes real in a matter of moments. Danger, excitement,
romance, all of it is for the crew's enjoyment. And nothing is really
permanent, not even the death of Dr. McCoy, who returns to his friends
patched up right as rain.
Our thoughts create our experiences. And like the crew members of the
Enterprise we should be careful of what we think. If you think or say
something you wish not to create simply state "cancel/clear"
to erase it. And then state what it is you do wish to create.
There is another Star Trek episode that is relevant here. It
is "Spectre of the Gun." The Enterprise has ignored warning
space buoys and intruded on an alien life form's territory. They are
sentenced to relive the "Gunfight at the O.K. Corral" and
be gunned down by the Earp brothers. Certain death. Or is it?
Mr. Spock notices that there are certain anomalies in the situation.
Even though the crew is still dressed in their uniforms and does not
resemble the Earps' rivals, everyone behaves as if they are them. Their
phasers do not work. Tranquilizer gas that Dr. McCoy makes is ineffective.
Then Chekov, historically the only survivor in their gang, dies in a
fight over a girl. How can that be? How can the laws of science be nullified?
How can history be undone?
Mr. Spock suggests they are currently living in an illusion. If they
can stay firm in their own reality as crewmen of the Enterprise then
the bullets fired at them in the gunfight will do them no harm. They
must believe it 100%; the slightest doubt will give the bullets the
ability to kill them. With Mr. Spock's help, they face the Earps and
survive by believing, despite appearances, that nothing about
them is real or harmful, all are specters, illusions.
We, too, must believe that peace is manifesting now, even though we
do not yet see it with our eyes or hear it with our ears. We must hold
the inner vision of peace, nurture it and look to it and to each other
for solace and confirmation.
A Course in Miracles states "Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God." Only love
is real. Fear is an illusion. For every second we feel scared we can
make another choice: to feel safe, and to remember "I AM Divinely
Guided and Protected." Safety equals peace.
Peace is inevitable. Its time has come.
Many of you may have heard of the "hundredth monkey" phenomenon.
It refers to the observation that one creature's new idea or behavior,
once taken up by others, will eventually spread throughout the species,
once a critical number of creatures follow suit. This is a powerful.
This is why peace is certain to come.
Statisticians have quantified the critical number to achieve change
in a community as the square root of 1% of a population* (Gregg Braden,
2000). In a metropolitan area the size of New York City (about 16,000,000)
it would take only 400** people holding the thought of peace, based
on Gregg Braden's model, for it to manifest. In a world of about 6.4
billion that means only 8,000 people living and breathing peace and
love can convert the whole planet! Peace is contagious!
"I AM Divinely Guided and Protected." These six words
can help us maintain our feelings of peace and safety amid the chaos
around us. And this is the most important thing we can do right now.
There is a Circle of Light established among Light Ones of the World.
Hold the Light with us. Keep Peace and Love in your Heart. With Peace
and Love you can Light the World, and then move forward to help those
who do not know how to do it. (Ji, 2001)
Peace & Love.
Light, Life & Love,
Billii
Endnotes:
*Gregg Braden, in an interview with Spirit of Ma'at e-zine (http://www.spiritofmaat.com/archive/aug1/gb_fn2.htm)
stated:
According to statisticians, the square root of one percent of the
population is all that is required for the threshold of a choice to
be felt. [David W. Orme-Johnson, Charles N. Alexander, John L. Davies,
Howard M. Chandler, Wallace E. Larimore, "International Peace
Project in the Middle East," The Journal of Conflict Resolution,
32, no. 4 (December 1998), 782.] In a city of 1 million people, for
example, 100 people trained in "emotional self-management"
and using the Fifth Mode of Prayer can affect all levels of community
and government.
Gregg details these concepts in his latest book, The Isaiah Effect,
(Three Rivers Press, 2000).
**For those who choose to see the math:
The equation is CN (critical number) = sqrt (.01P). If P = a population
of 16,000,000, then the critical number is the square root of 160,000
(1% of 16,000,000) or 400.
